Aleksandrinke - museum
In the village of Prvačina stands a museum dedicated to the women who travelled to Egypt as wet nurses and housekeepers from the second half of the 19th century until the Second World War. Former United Nations Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali (1922–2016) recalls in the documentary Aleksandrinke (dir. Metod Pevec, 2011) how one of these women cared for him during his childhood.
